The Merton Prayer

I try my best not to repeat stories or illustrations on my sermons, but I don’t apologize for the number of times I’ve used this prayer from the writer and monk Thomas Merton. I’m using it again this morning in my sermon. It always helps me to know that someone like Merton had the same feelings of uncertainty that I often do.
